HoopsMasters Training and Skill Development
Hoopsmasterz mission is to provide each client with professional level basketball training, development and coaching to help each player reach their full basketball potential and “Master the Game”!!!
Our Training Philosophy
Hoopsmasterz utilizes the Total Basketball Skill DEVELOPMENT Model (USA basketball Youth Development Certified Training
Start by teaching the basic mechanics of the game. The essential skills that establish a foundation for success - like triple threat position, form shooting, defensive stance, and pivot
Next, move onto the common basketball tasks players need to master - shooting, passing, ball-handing, rebounding and defense
Finally, we move onto the decisions and actions players make in game situations, to help give their team an advantage over an opponent. For example, knowing how to make a back door cut, execute a pick and roll, or come over from the weak side to take a charge.
In addition to this training philosophy offering skill/position specific training that will cover both skill and game enhancement drills.
Skill enhancement drills focus on the mechanical skill development while Game enhancement drills focus on game speed/situational skill development
WHATS SEPARATES HOOPSMASTERZ FROM OTHER TRAINING PROGRAMS??
WE CARE ABOUT EACH PLAYER PERSONALLY!!!
One thing that separates Hoopsmasterz from the rest is that after your kids train with us, we continue a relationship with them through an occasional email and/or phone call encouraging them to continue to stay focused and remember to use the things that they were taught. Also, we may attend a game and/or practice to do a live evaluation of your kid's progress!!
NEW for 2018!!!! HoopsMasterz has partnered with Skill Development Coach
The SDC Mission: To provide players and coaches with the most technically detailed skill progressions ever assembled!! The online platform also allows a coach/trainer to customize a video skill workout in a matter of seconds for any level of player (position specific) and send it directly to their hand held device.
